Make Tough Times Feel Like Freedom with These Simple Steps

It has been more than a year of living through a global pandemic and it still sucks. We are all feeling the effects of this unprecedented time: 

  • human interaction is scarce, 
  • loneliness is abundant, and
  • fear is at an all-time high. 

I am hopeful that the emotional side effects of COVID-19 will eventually be resolved & a distant memory of the past.

It Gets Easier

Sadly, there is the normalcy that comes with living in fear, staying at home, wearing masks when in public, and not socializing for months and months on end. Not that that is a good thing, but it’s just a natural result of living through something like this day in & day out and trying to make the best of it.

Then It Gets Okay

Once you realize that your new normal is something that you don’t like, it’s time to think about ways to change the situation. No, I can’t cure COVID, but I can change my attitude while living through a pandemic. If you are struggling in this area, you can too. 

And Then It Feels Like Freedom

I’m a natural people person, I’ve never met a stranger. The last year, walking around in masks and having to keep my distance has definitely changed the way I interact with people. Whether I am wearing a mask or not, I can still talk to people. I can still help a stranger that is lost. I can still do kind things for people. It just looks different right now, but it’s temporary.
